Albert G. Hehr, III AH3@HehrMyers.com
I have practiced in the field of Asset protection, Medicaid and Estate planning since I began the practice of law. I am a member of the National Academy of Elderlaw Attorneys, the Wealth Counsel, the Ohio Bar Association Trust and Estate planning sections and the Cleveland Estate Planning Counsel. I have worked with clients with estates ranging from $100 Million to zero, each with the own unique and difficult problems.
Asset Protection takes on many forms for many people. It often begins with very basic ideas. The ability to control ones assets while they are alive and well is a primary concern. Making sure the right amount of insurance is purchased, to protect them from loss. Beginning to look at how assets need to be secured. What type of business entities are the best and when should I get one? The size of the estate begs more and more unique and advanced protection techniques, all the while making sure that the initial concept of being able to protect and provide for our loved ones and maintain control of our lives is preserved.

Albert G. Hehr, Jr. (of counsel) AGHehr@HehrMyers.com
Albert G. Hehr, Jr., a 1974 graduate of Cleveland Marshall School of Law, began developing estate plans in the early portion of his career. With over 400 plans to his credit, he determined that his own succession needed an addition - thus the merger of his practice of more than 25 years with Hehr & Myers Co., L.P.A. in 2000. The extensive work he has done with the elderly has created a bond that is beyond reproach. Today he provides counsel on estate planning, business succession, and elder law and directs the marketing efforts of the firm.
Lindsay C. Jones (Associate Attorney) LCJones@HehrMyers.com
After graduating from Kent State University as an English Major in 2002, and then from The University of Akron School of Law in 2005, I was faced with the question of how to use my accumulated skills and knowledge to help people within my community. To my mind, it was only common sense that I use my legal training to proactively protect my clients, to prevent the small concerns of today from taking root and growing into the nightmares of tomorrow. Through such problem prevention, we are able to provide comfort and peace of mind- not only for the individual making decisions now, but also for their loved ones, who would otherwise be forced to endure financial hardships and make painful decisions during the most trying of times. This peace of mind is one of the most important things that we as attorneys can provide to our communities.
